We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Journeyman Technician to join our dynamic service team and contribute to our continued success. As an integral part of our service team, the Automotive Journeyman Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, inspecting, and repairing various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, and brakes. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality automotive services. Key Responsibilities include : Diagnose and repair problems with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and similar vehicle components. Perform thorough vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety. Conduct test drives to evaluate vehicle performance and diagnose issues effectively. Use a variety of diagnostic equipment, compression gauges, multi-meters, and other tools to diagnose and repair vehicles. Follow checklists to systematically examine critical parts of vehicles, including hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, and brakes. Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles to meet customer satisfaction and safety standards.
Qualifications :
Automotive experience or a degree from a technical school is required. Mercedes-Benz experience is preferred but not required. Must have own tools; special tools will be provided by the dealership. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and possess a clean driving record. Pay:
$33.00 - $47.00 per hour
