This entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow in the field of small engine repair, servicing equipment such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, generators, and more. You'll receive hands-on training from experienced technicians and develop essential mechanical skills that can launch your career in , equipment, or heavy machinery repair. Duties Assist with diagnosing and repairing small engines and equipment using schematics and technical manuals Learn to perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, spark plug replacements, and belt adjustments Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to complete repairs under supervision Support the disassembly and reassembly of engines and mechanical components for troubleshooting purposes Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used Help with heavy lifting of equipment and parts safely following proper procedures Contribute to customer service by explaining repair processes and ensuring customer satisfaction Experience No previous experience required — we provide comprehensive training! However, candidates with the following skills or background are highly valued: Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in automotive or equipment repair Familiarity with schematics or technical diagrams is a plus but not necessary Experience working with hand tools, power tools, or welding equipment is advantageous Customer service skills to assist clients effectively Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments Willingness to learn about diesel engine repair, generator maintenance, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance techniques Previous dealership or service technician experience is a bonus but not essential; we prioritize enthusiasm and a proactive attitude Embark on an exciting journey into the world of small engine repair!
