Mungenast Lexus of St Louis is hiring a personable and motivated Service Assistant. The Service Assistant will be responsible for filling in for Advisors, Parts Associates, and Service Greeters when on vacation and at lunch. The Service Assistant will be greeting and consulting customers, selling services and documenting their concerns and requests accurately and clearly on the repair order.

Other duties include:

Assists Service Advisor by handling write up of repair orders during peak times, as well as performing active delivery to customers when repair order finished. Assists Service Advisor by calling customers for repairs or maintenance with price quotes, as well as status of Repair order Assists Service advisor by calling extended warranty repairs in for authorization. Assists Service Department by performing Service Advisor duties during a Service Advisors absence, along with filling in for Parts and Service Greeters. Utilizes service history, factory maintenance guides, and the multi-point inspection sheet to recommend additional services Provides the customer with a complete and accurate written cost estimate Communicates promise times to the customer and sets realistic expectations Obtains customer's signature on repair order Adheres to warranty policies and procedures Properly and accurately documents all applicable job lines with customers' concerns/requests, cause, and correction Checks on progress of repairs throughout the day/duration of repair period, and keeping the customer informed of any changes in the estimate or promised time, cost or time requirements in detail, obtaining proper authorization before additional repairs are performed Explains completed work and all charges to customers Maintains a clean and professional work environment Maintains a professional appearance and treats other employees with the same level of respect they expect from others Other duties as assigned Pay will be $70,000-$80,000 yearly. Applicants must be flexible with there schedule.

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record. Must have basic computer knowledge and typing skills. This position requires frequent movement (walking and getting into and out of vehicles repeatedly) as well as standing most of the day. Courteous, effective, and professional communication with customers and staff is required. Sales Experience Applicants who wish to be considered for employment by Mungenast Lexus of St Louis must hold a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and be able to pass a drug test.
