Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our industrial maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems within our manufacturing facility. Your expertise will ensure that equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, supporting our production goals. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong foundation in industrial mechanics and troubleshooting techniques. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime. Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Repair or replace faulty components in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies. Read electrical blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and implement effective solutions. Operate equipment such as scissor lifts and perform welding tasks using welding techniques when necessary. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history. Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze system failures and develop long-term solutions for continuous improvement. Conduct safety checks on high voltage and low voltage electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. Support installation projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, and other industrial automation components. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and internal clients regarding maintenance status or technical issues. Skills Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and record keeping. Strong technical sales experience is a plus for understanding customer needs related to equipment repair or upgrades. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including troubleshooting compressors, fans, thermostats, and ductwork. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely for elevated maintenance tasks. Skilled in reading schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering diagrams related to complex machinery. Expertise in electrical diagnostics involving high voltage and low voltage systems; familiar with ammeters and ohmmeters for testing circuits. Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, pneumatic troubleshooting, and precision measuring instruments. Capable of performing welding tasks using welding techniques; familiar with safety procedures associated with welding operations. Strong analysis skills for diagnosing equipment failures quickly and accurately. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting. Knowledge of industrial electrician practices including electrical maintenance, troubleshooting electrical systems, and implementing repairs. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.

Qualifications:

4-5 years of professional automotive repair experience Valid Missouri Safety Inspector License required Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills Ability to perform general automotive repairs and maintenance Dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Ability to work independently and efficiently
