Auto Mechanic Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. The Auto Mechanic will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and repair automotive electrical systems to keep vehicles in excellent condition. Responsibilities Conduct vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements. Diagnose and repair mechanical systems such as engines, transmissions, suspension, and steering components. Repair automotive electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, starters, alternators, and sensors. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Perform safety inspections and ensure all repairs meet industry standards and safety regulations. Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Qualifications Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, mechanical systems, and electrical components. Ability to diagnose complex automotive issues accurately using diagnostic tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) are preferred but not mandatory. Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical dexterity and stamina to perform manual repairs in various working conditions.
