Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to automotive excellence. We are looking for a 2nd shift mechanic or lube tech. Hours would be Monday-Friday. 3pm-10pm. 2 Saturdays a month from 8am-3pm. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and powertrain components. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, and vehicle inspections. Repair and replace ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components and work with heavy equipment mechanics when necessary. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in the automotive repair industry. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including diesel engines, auto body repair, and auto estimating. Expertise in automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Skilled in transmission repair, powertrain servicing, suspension system repair, and wheel alignment procedures. Familiarity with ADAS technology, brake repair, oil change procedures, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and vehicle maintenance best practices. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair machinery confidently.
