Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components. Repair and maintain powertrain components such as engines, transmissions, and drive systems with precision and attention to detail. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs, wheel alignments, and steering system diagnostics to ensure optimal handling and safety. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately to troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently. Service diesel engines and perform complex repairs on vehicle transmission systems while adhering to manufacturer specifications. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering maintenance advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and understanding automotive electrical systems. Hands-on experience with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, brakes, and electrical components. Familiarity with automotive estimating software (auto estimating) is preferred. Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools and power tools for efficient repairs. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately for electrical troubleshooting. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid mechanic license or certification is desirable; ongoing training or certifications are encouraged.
