Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will contribute to delivering top-tier automotive service by diagnosing issues accurately and executing repairs efficiently. Responsibilities Diagnose vehicle problems using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics, including advanced systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and electrical wiring diagrams. Perform repairs on various vehicle systems such as powertrain, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and engine components, including diesel engines. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and vehicle system inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Repair and replace vehicle components such as transmissions, powertrain parts, suspension systems, and electrical wiring to manufacturer specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive diagnostic software to execute repairs accurately and efficiently. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, estimating timeframes accurately, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, wiring diagrams, and electronic systems including ADAS technology. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as alignments, transmission repairs, suspension system repairs, and diesel engine servicing. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and understanding of automotive electrical systems. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, vehicle transmission systems, and vehicle systems overall. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid mechanic certification or equivalent experience; dealership or service center background preferred. $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
