Lube Technician/General Mechanic WANTED:
Fleet Mechanic About Us:
•We are responsible for the maintenance and repairs on 45 delivery vehicles for a private fleet in Rolla, Missouri. Our goal is to keep this fleet well maintainted and able to utilize their vehicles every day.
What we are looking for:
•We are looking for an In-House Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing medium to heavy duty delivery trucks - Monday through Friday, 2pm - 10pm.
Responsibilities:
•Perform preventative maintenance services Perform quality preventative maintenance inspections Perform mechanical repairs on medium to heavy duty delivery trucks Lubricate chassis on delivery vehicles Report needed repairs Assist with the maintenance program management for a private fleet with delivery vehicles Use iPad for repair orders Document work performed Maintain a tidy, well organized work area (including the service truck)
Capabilities:
•Knowledge of shop equipment Knowledge of hand tools Mechanical aptitude Strong work ethic and self-direction Attention to detail and deadline Able to accurately identify and evaluate vehicle components Able to use deduction and experience to solve mechanical problems Able to perform a variety of mechanical services that include, but are not limited to: oil and filter change, tire mount and balance, brake pad replacement, water pumps, alternators, starters, batteries Benefits Competitive salary Paid time off (including Holidays) Growing company with opportunity for internal advancement Shop tools supplied Work with a team focused on your success and development as a mechanic
