Job Description

J. Allen Ford - Service Technician We run an honest shop, and we're looking for honest, hard-working technicians to join the J. Allen Automotive family. The Role:
Precision & Performance As a Service Technician, you are responsible for maintaining the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles. You'll work in a collaborative environment where quality and integrity come first.
What You'll Do:
Diagnostics & Repair:
Thoroughly examine vehicles to identify issues and perform precise repairs.
Collaboration:
Partner with the Shop Foreman and Service Advisors to plan work and provide accurate labor estimates.
Clear Communication:
Keep the service team informed on repair progress and any additional maintenance needs discovered.
Technical Mastery:
Stay current with factory technical bulletins and attend company-provided training to keep your skills sharp.
Mentorship:
Share your expertise by assisting in the development of technician trainees.
Compliance & Care:
Adhere to all dealership policies regarding vehicle care and follow all environmental and safety regulations for hazardous waste disposal. What You Bring to the
Table Technical Proficiency:
A strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to document repairs accurately.
Certifications:
Must have a valid Driver's License and a State Inspection License.
Strong Ethics:
A commitment to honesty and a positive, "can-do" attitude.
Education:
