Job Description
Christian Non-Profit Auto Center We are seeking a dependable and experienced Mechanic to join our Christian non-profit auto center. This position is more than repairing vehicles — it is an opportunity to mentor and train men in automotive repair skills while helping transform lives through faith, hard work, and service to the community. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair vehicles including brakes, suspension, engine components, electrical systems, oil changes, and general maintenance Perform inspections and ensure repairs are completed safely and efficiently Teach and mentor men learning automotive repair and basic mechanic skills Demonstrate professionalism, patience, leadership, and strong work ethic Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Help guide trainees in workplace responsibility, teamwork, and life skills Assist with inventory, tools, and shop organization Support the mission and values of the ministry Qualifications Experience as an automotive mechanic or technician Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues Willingness to teach, mentor, and encourage men in a training environment Strong communication and leadership skills Dependable, honest, and team-oriented Valid driver's license ASE certifications Must support the Christian mission and values of the organization What We're Looking For We are looking for someone with both mechanical knowledge and a heart for ministry — someone who can help men develop trade skills, confidence, discipline, and purpose through hands-on automotive training.
