Duties Perform oil changes and automotive fluid replacements using standard hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal engine performance. Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as tire rotations, tire service, wheel alignments, and basic mechanical repairs. Diagnose common automotive issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge to identify necessary repairs or adjustments. Assist with minor mechanical repairs including brake inspections, belt replacements, and other vehicle maintenance tasks. Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed, answering questions, and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate. Use mechanical skills to perform alignment checks and adjustments to improve vehicle handling and safety. Lift heavy vehicles or parts safely during service procedures while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred. Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of standard passenger car operation and automotive diagnostics. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment. Experience with automotive fluid replacement procedures such as oil changes, coolant flushes, and transmission fluid services. Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks including tire service, minor repairs, and alignment work efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods. Basic knowledge of automotive systems combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and safety standards.
