In this vital role, you will serve as the bridge between our valued clients and our skilled technicians, ensuring vehicle repairs and maintenance are communicated clearly, accurately estimated, and completed efficiently. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Provide detailed vehicle inspections and explain repair options with clarity and transparency Prepare accurate estimates using estimating software, including labor, parts, and additional services Upsell recommended services such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repairs to maximize customer value Communicate effectively with service technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure timely completion of repairs Manage cash handling procedures and process payments securely at the point of sale Maintain thorough documentation of all service orders, repair details, and client interactions for seamless record keeping Use automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately and recommend appropriate solutions Foster strong client relationships through excellent communication skills and proactive follow-up on vehicle status Stay current with automotive repair trends, estimating software updates, and dealership service protocols to continually improve service quality Experience Proven experience as a Service Advisor or Service Writer in an automotive repair shop environment Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repairs Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and professionally Experience in auto service management or sales roles within automotive setting is highly desirable Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to facilitate test drives if needed Knowledge of automotive systems including engine performance, mechanical components, and vehicle maintenance procedures Embark on a career where your passion for cars meets your talent for client communication!
