Fleet & Facilities Technician CMG Ventures | Burlington, NC Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Join a Hands-On Team That Keeps Operations Moving CMG Ventures is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Fleet & Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and upkeep of our company vehicles, rental equipment, facilities, warehouse, and yard operations. You'll work closely with the Fleet & Facilities Manager to help ensure our vehicles, equipment, and facilities remain safe, clean, operational, and ready for business.

What You'll Do:

Fleet & Equipment Maintenance Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on company vehicles and rental equipment. Maintain and repair equipment including tools, portable toilets, landscaping equipment, and other motorized equipment. Support equipment used across CMG Ventures divisions, including TCS and Piedmont Portable. Inspect, clean, and prepare rental equipment for customer use. Identify mechanical concerns and escalate more complex repair needs to the Fleet & Facilities Manager. Document maintenance and repair activities. Vehicle & Fleet Support Conduct routine inspections of company vehicles, forklifts, and related equipment. Check fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, and other safety-related systems. Assist with preventive maintenance and minor repairs. Report safety issues, maintenance concerns, and potential compliance violations. Help coordinate outside repair vendors when additional service is required. Facility & Property Maintenance Assist with general building maintenance and repairs. Perform tasks such as changing filters and completing basic electrical, plumbing, and maintenance work. Help maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard areas. Identify facility concerns that may require professional contractor support. Safety Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures. Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Participate in forklift training and maintain required certifications. Assist with safety inspections and help maintain a safe working environment. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Qualifications Previous experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical repair, facilities maintenance, construction, landscaping, or a related field preferred. Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment. Familiarity with construction, landscaping, or rental equipment is a plus. Valid driver's license required. CDL is a plus, but not required . Basic understanding of workplace safety and equipment maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical or facility-related issues. Willingness to learn company fleet and facility procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds . Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand, bend, lift, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Comfortable working around equipment, vehicles, dirt, fumes, chemicals, and loud environments when necessary.

Compensation & Schedule Pay:

$21.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience
