Primary Function:

To provide a mobile service performing mechanical repairs to the truck/trailer fleet within a 75 mile radius.

Essential Position Responsibilities:

Must possess a valid driver license Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record Must complete DOT Medical Examiner physical Performs DOT inspections, minor light repairs, tire maintenance, minor body repairs, and other repairs and services as necessary Be flexible for reassignment to other projects throughout the shift Act professionally and respectfully toward drivers and the motoring public through all actions and behaviors Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Prefer experience with DOT inspections according to FMCSA regulations Computer proficient Technical abilities Must be able to make decisions and establish work priorities A high level of accuracy is required Excellent communication skills Required to work in varying weather conditions, all work will be exposed to the elements Bending, pushing, lifting min.50 lbs., twisting, squatting, and stooping as needed This job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of the Employer.
