• Tools provided About the role RTR Vehicles builds OEM+ Ford performance vehicles for customers who expect the finished product to match the brand.

We are adding Performance Automotive Technicians to the Built by RTR team to support increasing vehicle volume. This is a hands-on build role: you will assemble, modify, and finish RTR vehicles to established standards, working alongside the Lead RTR Technician and reporting to the Director of Operations. For RTR vehicles, functional is not the final standard. Fit, finish, cleanliness, and presentation are part of the job. What you'll do Install and fit body, exterior, and aero components Perform supercharger installations and related mechanical systems Install and set up suspension, wheels, and tires Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as required to complete assigned work Troubleshoot mechanical, fitment, and quality concerns Complete warranty repairs and corrective work Support customer special requests and project vehicles Perform final vehicle preparation and participate in quality-control inspections Protect customer vehicles, paint, interiors, and trim throughout the build Maintain organization of hardware, components, and customer property Immediately flag damaged, incorrect, or missing components Follow RTR installation procedures and specifications What you bring 3-5+ years as a performance automotive technician Hands-on performance installation experience — superchargers, suspension, aero, and similar aftermarket or OEM+ components Ford dealership technician experience strongly preferred Proven ability to complete installs to a fit-and-finish standard, not just a functional one Reliable, punctual, and able to communicate vehicle status, delays, and problems before they hit the schedule Valid driver's license Nice to have Ford / ASE certifications
