We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified General Motors (GM) Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of GM vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional customer service by providing accurate assessments and efficient repairs. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on GM vehicles using automotive diagnostic tools and interpret wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Conduct engine repairs involving diesel and gasoline engines, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs efficiently. Interpret schematics and automotive wiring diagrams for troubleshooting complex electrical and electronic systems. Perform wheel alignments, vehicle maintenance, heavy lifting, and manual handling tasks to ensure proper vehicle operation. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Valid certification as a General Motors Technician with proven experience working on GM vehicles or similar brands. Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with OEM standards and procedures. Strong knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic procedures. Experience with ADAS calibration, vehicle alignment, diesel engine repair, and automotive wiring interpretation. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostics tools and understanding schematics for troubleshooting complex vehicle issues. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in automotive repair, maintenance, welding, and powertrain servicing. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
