Job Description
Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Detail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with standard passenger cars, buffing, interior and exterior cleaning, and ensure the highest standards of vehicle cleanliness and presentation. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to customer satisfaction and automotive excellence. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of safe work practices and be capable of handling various detailing tasks with precision. Duties Operate and maintain equipment for vehicle cleaning and buffing, including automotive buffers and polishing tools. Perform vehicle exterior washing, interior detailing, vacuuming, and cleaning to meet quality standards. Buffing using appropriate techniques to restore vehicle finishes. Utilize cleaning equipment effectively while adhering to safe work practices to ensure safety for self and others. Maintain the cleanliness of the auto detailing facility, including janitorial duties as needed. Ensure all vehicles are cleaned thoroughly, maintaining high standards of vehicle exterior and interior appearance. Assist with car wash operations and related custodial tasks to support daily operations. Follow all safety protocols during operation of tools and equipment, ensuring a safe working environment. Experience Prior experience in auto detailing or auto body shops is preferred, especially with auto buffing, pinstripe and vehicle cleaning techniques. Familiarity with auto detailing facilities and/or body shop environments is advantageous. Experience with custodial or janitorial work demonstrates attention to cleanliness standards applicable in this role. Must have a valid drivers license. Knowledge of safe work practices related to heavy lifting, equipment handling, and chemical use is essential.
