Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring that all repairs meet the highest standards of quality. Duties Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs. Execute vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Repair and replace automotive components such as transmissions, powertrains, and electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks. Conduct alignments and other mechanical adjustments as needed. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the service department. Skills Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role, preferably with dealership experience. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair techniques. Familiarity with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus. Proficiency in working with automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting electrical issues. Experience with diesel engine repair is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance practices and standards. Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with attention to detail.
