Job Description
Position Summary The Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic automotive maintenance services in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Lube Technicians are essential to the daily operations of the shop and play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. Key Responsibilities Drain motor oil, replace oil filters, and grease chassis fittings. Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure. Inspect and top off vehicle fluids. Assist customers in selecting oil types and additional services. Provide excellent customer service both verbally and in writing. Process payments for services performed. Perform coolant exchanges and fill services. Restock and maintain inventory levels on the shop floor. Maintain cleanliness of the shop, office, and bathrooms. Perform any and all other assigned duties Qualifications & Requirements Willingness to learn and retain detailed knowledge of oils and services. Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot deep pit safely. Capable of walking, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and performing physical tasks for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in varying weather conditions (hot/cold). Strong awareness of surroundings and adherence to safety protocols. Excellent communication skills with the public. Reliable transportation is required.
