Duties Respond swiftly to roadside assistance calls, diagnosing vehicle issues on-site and providing effective solutions. Perform mechanical repairs such as jump-starts, tire changes, fuel deliveries, lockouts, and minor engine fixes using hand tools and power tools. Utilize schematics and automotive electrical systems knowledge to troubleshoot complex electrical problems accurately. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks including fluid checks, belt replacements, and basic mechanical repairs following safety regulations. Use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters to identify electrical faults and ensure proper functioning of mechanical systems. Adhere strictly to safety protocols during manual handling, welding, and mechanical repairs to prevent accidents or injuries. Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and vehicle condition reports for accountability and quality assurance. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices such as ohmmeters. Familiarity with mechanical systems repair, automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diesel mechanics is highly desirable. Experience working with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) procedures in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Knowledge of safety regulations related to mechanical repair and roadside assistance operations. Ability to handle manual tasks involving manual handling techniques safely and efficiently.
