Position Summary :

The Trailer Service Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and custom upfitting on a wide range of trailers and equipment. This role involves electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting, interior carpentry, and exterior panel replacements to ensure units meet high standards of quality and safety. Additionally, the technician assists with lot maneuvering using tractors and forklifts, customer hookups, and maintaining an organized, efficient shop environment. Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Repairing trailer frames and parts Various trailer customizations and uplifting Basic carpentry tasks relating to trailer interiors Replacing axles, breaks, bearing, bushings, etc. Electrical diagnostics and repair Hydraulic diagnostics and repair Installing receiver hitches, fifth wheel hitches, gooseneck hitches Installing trailer brake controllers Replacing aluminum exterior trailer panels (will train) Pressure washing trailers Operating yard tractors to move trailers around the lot Operating forklifts to unload and assemble trailers and parts Assist with inventory management of needed raw materials, parts, hardware, etc Keep work area clean and orderly

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 9am-5pm.
