Job Description - The Mobile Service Technician will support the dealership's needs for Mobile repairs and service. The role includes acquiring and managing new and existing Mobile Service accounts. Perform repairs and services to Ford and Lincoln vehicles including but not limited to open recalls, oil changes, and other repairs and services that can be performed with the tools that the Mobile Service Vehicle(s) provide. Schedule onsite appointments and manage route to ensure 75% or more of each day onsite performing repairs and services and 25% or less of each day spent driving to the location(s). New and existing accounts should comprise mainly of commercial business with Ford vehicles in their fleet, local dealerships with Ford inventory for sale, Rental Car Companies with Ford vehicles, local auctions, and local airports to name a few. Maintain a clean appearance for the Mobile Van as well as cleaning and maintaining tools inside the Mobile Van. Job Requirements Minimum 1 year experience as an automotive technician. Preferably with Ford experience but not required. Able to effectively communicate with customers over the phone and in-person. CDK and Xtime experience are preferred but not required. Strong Time Management Skills. Ford Technician Certification. Clean Driving Record. Transportation to and from the dealership. Punctual and reliable.
