Job Summary We are seeking a talented and reliable Trailer Mechanic with a strong background in trailer repair and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in brakes, hydraulics, suspension, and electrical systems, and have a passion for delivering excellent service. Experience with welding is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trailers to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues related to trailers, including brakes, axles, and suspension systems. Assemble and disassemble trailer components as needed. Conduct electrical repairs and maintenance on trailer systems, including lighting and wiring. Operate industrial equipment such as forklifts and lifts to move trailers and parts within the facility. Ensure trailers meet safety standards and perform pre-delivery inspections. Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs and communicate effectively with customers and team members. Assist with welding tasks when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Skills Proficiency in vehicle maintenance and automotive repair techniques. Strong understanding of electrical systems related to trailers. Experience as a service technician with hands-on mechanical skills. Ability to maintain, assemble, and troubleshoot various trailer components. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Familiarity with industrial equipment operation, particularly forklifts. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Welding experience preferred.
