Duties Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Explain repair and maintenance services clearly, providing detailed estimates using estimating software and automotive diagnostics tools. Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission repairs to maximize customer value. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services. Manage service writing tasks efficiently, including creating detailed repair orders and updating clients on vehicle status throughout the process. Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent client communication to ensure satisfaction. Promote dealership services through proactive sales techniques and foster long-term customer relationships for repeat business. Skills Proven experience in auto service management or as a service technician with strong mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with estimating software, computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems, and automotive diagnostics tools. Knowledge of automotive repair procedures including oil changes, brake repair, wheel alignments, suspension work, shocks & struts replacement, air brake systems, transmissions, and collision repair. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Demonstrated ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and transparency. Strong organizational skills with experience in auto estimating and service writing.
