Our company is looking for an experienced Lead Automotive Technician for our Arcade location located at 688 W Main St, Arcade, NY 14009 Van's Auto Service & Tire Pros has been family owned and operated for over 30 years providing 5-star customer service.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions. Repair or replace faulty components and parts Perform necessary repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension and alignments Collaborate with the sales team and service department Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

This job operates in an automotive shop environment. The job will have exposure to a moderate noise level, adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt and dust. Must be able to lift, carry and stock merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs. without assistance Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting

Professional Qualifications:

Must be proficient with diagnostic testing (CEL, ABS, electrical, drivability issues etc.) Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead technician role strongly preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule with great attendance.

•All candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid driver's license with a clean MVR history.
