$29.00-$31.00 per hour Position Summary Edge Auto Rental is seeking an experienced Automotive Paint Technician to join our Body Shop team. This position requires a skilled painter who can consistently produce high-quality automotive finishes and work efficiently within a busy shop environment. This is not an entry-level position. Prior professional automotive painting experience is required. Responsibilities Paint cars, SUVs, vans, trucks, and vehicle components Mix and match automotive paint to achieve accurate color and finish Apply primer, base coat, clear coat, and other refinishing materials Inspect vehicles and prepared surfaces before painting Ensure proper blending and color matching Identify and correct paint imperfections or defects Buff, polish, and perform final finishing as needed Work closely with Body and Prep Technicians to maintain an efficient workflow Properly use and maintain spray guns and paint equipment Maintain a clean and safe paint/work area Follow proper safety procedures for handling paint and refinishing materials Requirements Professional automotive painting/refinishing experience required Strong paint mixing and color-matching experience Experience with automotive spray guns and refinishing equipment Knowledge of primers, base coats, clear coats, blending, and finishing techniques Ability to independently complete paint work to a professional standard Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced body shop Dependable and reliable Valid driver's license preferred Compensation & Benefits $29.00-$31.00 per hour , based on experience.
