Duties Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently. Complete vehicle inspections, alignments, wheel balancing, and suspension work to ensure optimal performance. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical problems effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering recommendations for ongoing vehicle maintenance. Assist with auto estimating processes by assessing repair needs and preparing accurate work orders for service technicians. Experience Proven experience or automotive service background with a good understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Some knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, transmissions, diesel engines, and powertrain components will put you in a higher pay bracket but is not necessary for employment ,Diagnostic software, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines. Demonstrated ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Service technician experience with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.
