Ideal candidates have fleet maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic experience. Apply today for stable, year-round work in a 100% mobile day shift role with overtime opportunities. Duties & Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light- and medium-duty delivery trucks in a fully mobile environment Respond to roadside breakdowns and complete repairs at terminals and other field locations Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using scan tools, digital multimeters, Power Probes, and testing procedures Repair brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems, and replace engines and transmissions as needed Service Ford E and F-59 trucks, Ford Transit vans, Chevrolet Express vans, GMC Savana vans, and similar fleet vehicles Work with other technicians to prioritize repairs and keep the fleet safe, reliable, and operating efficiently
Requirements Required:
Previous experience as an automotive or fleet technician working on light- or medium-duty trucks Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems Experience with brake, suspension, steering, drivetrain, engine, and transmission repairs Ability to use diagnostic scan tools, digital multimeters, and Power Probes to troubleshoot vehicle issues Must own professional-grade tools Comfortable working independently in a 100% mobile role and available Monday through Saturday as needed Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred:
Experience responding to roadside breakdowns and service calls #PJ1
Compensation:
$25.00 - $35.00/hour based on experience (hourly pay not flat rate) Overtime opportunities
