Duties:

• Perform equipment repairs and maintenance on vehicles
• Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair processes

Skills:

• Performs work outlined on repair orders with efficiency/accuracy, in accordance with shop standards and factory standards
• Diagnoses cause of most malfunctions and performs repair
• Strong technical skills in automotive repair and maintenance
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
• Communicates and works effectively with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Accurately documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
• Road tests vehicles as required
• Ensures customer car is kept clean
• Maintains a clean work area
• Must have basic tools and operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Must have a valid driver's license
