Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing roadside assistance, towing vehicles, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive mechanics and the ability to handle various situations with professionalism and care. Duties Operate tow trucks to transport vehicles safely to designated locations. Respond promptly to calls for roadside assistance, including breakdowns, accidents, and vehicle recovery. Perform vehicle inspections and basic diagnostics to assess the condition of vehicles before towing. Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on service status and address any concerns. Manage conflict situations calmly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of services performed and vehicle conditions. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road. Assist with minor automotive repairs as needed, utilizing skills in automotive diagnostics and repair. Keep towing vehicles clean and assist with regular maintenance of facility vehicles. Alert owners of any repair needs. Skills Strong conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations with customers effectively. Valid commercial driving license with experience in operating tow trucks and manual transmission vehicles. Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients in distress. Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus for assisting with vehicle recovery tasks. Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques to assess vehicle issues accurately.
