Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and powertrain components. Repair and maintain vehicles by executing tasks such as engine repairs, transmission system repairs, suspension system adjustments, wheel alignments, and electrical system troubleshooting. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to facilitate precise repairs on complex electrical systems. Conduct vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components with precision. Diagnose issues related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and perform calibration procedures as needed. Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate auto estimating, communicate repair findings clearly to customers, and uphold excellent customer service standards. Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Extensive knowledge of vehicle systems such as powertrain, transmissions, suspension systems, electrical wiring, and diesel engines. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and interpreting schematics for efficient troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience working with hand tools and power tools for various repair tasks. Ability to perform complex repairs on GM vehicles or similar makes with confidence and precision. Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and calibration procedures for ADAS technology.
