Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Auto Repair Specialist, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle maintenance and repair. You will be instrumental in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring our customers' vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues across diverse vehicle makes and models. Perform repairs on engines, including diesel engine repair and automotive engine system repair, ensuring optimal powertrain performance. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to troubleshoot electrical systems and implement effective repairs. Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake service, wheel alignments, and suspension repairs to uphold safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely to complete mechanical repairs efficiently. Repair or replace automotive components including transmissions, engine parts, electrical wiring, and body panels as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the service experience. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working with a variety of vehicles, including GM vehicles preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and vehicle systems diagnostics. Hands-on experience with automotive repair tools such as diagnostic scanners, power tools, welding equipment, and manual hand tools. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and manual handling safety protocols in a busy workshop environment. Knowledge of automotive body repair and auto paint processes is a plus but not required. Ability to interpret schematics accurately and troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently. $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
