Job Description

Eagle Chevrolet and Eagle Kia located on Route 58, Riverhead, NY are seeking to add Techs now! This is an immediate hire position! Looking for all level technicians for immediate hire. Rate differential for medium duty and higher work. Offering $5000.00 sign on bonus. Payout after 6 months complete.
Responsibilities:
Repair & Maintenance :
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake inspections.
Safety Inspections :
Perform safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards. Identify and repair safety-related issues such as faulty brakes, steering or lighting system.
Documentation :
Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities. Document parts usage, labor hours, and diagnostic findings for each repair job.
HVAC Systems :
Inspect, repair, and recharge air conditioning and heating systems in vehicles.
Shop Maintenance :
Keep work areas clean and organized. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Quality Assurance :
Ensure the quality of repairs by conducting thorough inspections and test drives before returning vehicles to customers. Address any issues or concerns promptly to achieve customer satisfaction.
Vehicle Diagnosis :
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Electrical Systems :
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, and alternators. Diagnose and repair electronic control systems such as engine management systems and onboard computer systems.
