Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Technician - B, where your expertise will drive exceptional vehicle care and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Your mechanical skills and attention to detail will contribute to a high-quality service experience, supporting our commitment to excellence in automotive repair. Hourly pay Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00. No weekends! Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Perform essential repairs including brake systems, suspension components, shocks & struts, wheel alignments, and tire services to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Execute routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, vehicle inspections, fluid replacements, and preventive maintenance to extend vehicle lifespan. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems accurately. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven experience or background working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on mechanical systems repair. Experience working with all makes and models of vehicles is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to read schematics and utilize diagnostic software effectively for automotive diagnostics. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong customer service skills to deliver top-tier service experiences. Valid NYS Inspectors License is advantageous but not required.
