Job Summary Curry Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Used Car Automotive Technician to join our growing Service Department. This position is ideal for a technician who is experienced in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide variety of makes and models. Responsibilities Perform complete used vehicle inspections. Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns. Perform maintenance and repairs on all makes and models. Complete New York State Inspections. Identify and document all recommended repairs. Complete approved repairs in a timely and efficient manner. Properly document technicians stories on all Repair Orders. Complete inspections and recommendations through Xtime. Verify repairs before returning the vehicle to Sales. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Work closely with Dispatch, Parts, and the Internal Service Advisor. Requirements Minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience preferred. New York State Inspector's License required Valid driver's license required. Must have your own tools. Strong diagnostic and repair skills. Ability to work on multiple makes and models.
