Skilled Laborer (Construction) Job Description We are seeking a skilled laborer for our construction projects who can effectively follow directions and training provided. The role requires the ability to use industry-specific tools to accurately report data and conduct inspections. This position involves traveling out of town for projects as needed. Responsibilities Perform groundline and above-ground inspections of wooden utility poles in accordance with industry best practices. Identify and document pole conditions including decay, damage, insect infestation, and structural deficiencies. Conduct visual inspections of electric transmission equipment on the top of each utility pole and record inspection results and locations using mobile devices or inspection software. Maintain company vehicles, UTVs, tools, and equipment in safe working condition. Travel daily throughout the

regions; overnight travel may be required depending on project location. Essential Skills Construction experience. Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation. Prior experience working in a construction or similar setting with testing instruments and inspections. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various environments. Comfortable working around active utility infrastructure and roadways. Ability to safely operate UTVs/side-by-sides (training provided if needed). Familiarity with mobile inspection or data collection software is a plus. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
