Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Mechanic/Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair services. In this role, you will utilize your mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, electrical systems, and vehicle components. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical wiring diagrams interpretation. Conduct engine repairs on both gasoline and diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with manufacturer standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical repair techniques to execute repairs efficiently and accurately. Interpret schematics and automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Perform wheel alignments and vehicle maintenance tasks to uphold safety standards and extend vehicle lifespan. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the service experience. Requirements Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience with a strong background in automotive engine system repair. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and automotive diagnostics tools. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, powertrain components, and auto body repair is highly desirable. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to read automotive schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately. Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy parts safely during repairs or maintenance tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards.
