Heavy Truck Mechanic

Job Duties:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy trucks (oil changes, battery checks, brake systems, steering, etc.) Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Replace parts and repair systems including engines, transmissions, cooling/heating, and emissions. Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation. Maintain accurate service records and keep tools/equipment in safe working condition. Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of experience in heavy-duty truck repair and maintenance. Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems. Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair equipment. Valid drivers license. Ability to lift up to 75lbs and work in various conditions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
