Job Description

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking a Trailer Mechanic to support our shop operations and ensure our vehicles remain safe, reliable, and compliant.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair brake systems, suspension components, lighting, hydraulic systems, etc. on semi-trailers, flatbeds, dry vans, and specialty trailers Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential issues before they become major problems Maintain detailed work orders, parts usage, and repair logs for fleet management and regulatory compliance Ensure shop safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or community college courses in automotive technology or related fields is preferred 3+ years' experience as a Trailer Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician Strong knowledge of commercial trailer systems, including air brakes, electrical, and suspension Ability to diagnose issues independently and complete repairs with minimal supervision Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required Maintain a drug-free lifestyle (BBD complies with the Federal Drug-Free Workplace Act)
