Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain engines, including diesel engine repair, powertrain components, and automotive engine technology to ensure optimal performance. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire alignments, brake repairs, and suspension work to uphold safety standards. Use hand tools, power tools, and manual handling techniques to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Diagnose and repair advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and other electronic features to enhance vehicle safety and functionality. Collaborate with team members to complete repairs on GM vehicles or similar models, ensuring quality workmanship and timely service delivery. Requirements Proven dealership experience or equivalent automotive repair background demonstrating mechanic expertise. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive engine systems, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools, schematics interpretation, and automotive wiring diagrams. Experience with diesel engine repair, heavy lifting, and the use of power tools in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read and understand automotive repair manuals, schematics, and technical documents accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professional conduct. Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
