Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems with enthusiasm and precision. Your technical expertise will ensure our customers receive top-quality service and reliable vehicle maintenance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced automotive technology in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components including engines, transmissions, and related systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Conduct repairs on vehicle suspension systems and wheel alignment to enhance safety and handling. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues within automotive electrical systems. Service and repair diesel engines and other specialized powertrain components with attention to detail. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs, replacements, and adjustments. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with a strong mechanical background. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical system troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with automotive repair tools including hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures across various brands, especially GM vehicles preferred. Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology and automotive wiring diagrams. Strong understanding of vehicle transmission systems, powertrain components, and suspension system repair. Excellent customer service skills combined with technical proficiency to deliver quality automotive service.
