In this vital role, you will serve as the bridge between our valued clients and our skilled technicians, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every vehicle owner. Your ability to communicate clearly, estimate repairs accurately, and upsell services will help maximize customer satisfaction and dealership profitability. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Prepare detailed repair estimates using estimating software, ensuring transparency and clarity for clients. Communicate effectively with technicians regarding vehicle diagnostics, repairs needed, and estimated timeframes. Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, shocks & struts, air brake systems, transmissions, and collision repairs to enhance customer value. Manage customer interactions professionally through client communication skills, providing updates and explaining repair options clearly. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining accurate financial records. Coordinate part delivery and service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services. Maintain detailed documentation of all service orders, estimates, and repair histories for future reference. Promote auto service sales by identifying opportunities for additional maintenance or repairs aligned with customer needs. Support dealership goals by contributing to a positive team environment focused on excellent customer service. Qualifications Minimum Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, tire service, brakes, suspension systems, shocks & struts, air brake systems, alignment procedures, and repair processes. Proficiency with estimating. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles as needed. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage multiple tasks. Preferred Proven experience as a Service Writer, Automotive Technician, or in auto service management within a dealership or automotive repair shop. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Experience in auto estimating and upselling additional services confidently while maintaining integrity. Automotive repair or technician experience is highly desirable to better understand vehicle issues and communicate effectively with technicians. Pay:
$16.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
