Truck and Trailer Technician Bellaire OH Monday
  • Friday, Some weekends possible 7:00 am
  • 5:00 pm Pay Range $35

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on tractor/truck engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and trailer components to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify and address intricate mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in tractor/truck and trailer systems. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans, service schedules, and repair strategies to maximize fleet efficiency and longevity. Mentor and train technicians in advanced repair techniques, diagnostics procedures, and industry best practices for maintaining tractor/truck units and trailers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance processes, coordinate service tasks, and enhance overall fleet performance in varied transportation lanes. Uphold safety standards, comply with industry regulations, and maintain meticulous documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and compliance with relevant safety and environmental regulations. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Extensive experience as a knowledgeable Tractor/Truck and Trailer Technician, with a deep understanding of the intricacies of tractor/truck units and trailer systems in the transportation industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components commonly found in tractor/truck units and trailers.
  • Strong leadership abilities to provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to fellow technicians with a focus on skill development and performance improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate technical information, collaborate with team members, and coordinate maintenance activities across transportation lanes.
  • Detail-oriented approach to conducting thorough inspections, precise repairs, and accurate documentation to uphold service quality, compliance, and fleet reliability.
  • Relevant certifications or specialized training in advanced tractor/truck and trailer technology, maintenance practices, or related fields within the transportation sector.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
