Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Service vehicles through oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and brake repairs to maintain optimal safety standards. Repair and maintain diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics as required, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical systems. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Expertise in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and automotive electrical systems. Skilled in diagnosing issues related to transmissions, powertrains, suspension systems, shocks & struts, and wheel alignment. Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including oil change procedures, tire service, brake repair, and mechanical system repair. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately for complex repairs involving automotive electrical wiring and mechanical components. Strong familiarity with auto estimating software and maintaining detailed service records.
