Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines (gasoline and diesel), transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools efficiently for repairs and installations. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to execute precise repairs on complex automotive systems. Service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components and perform wheel alignments for optimal vehicle handling. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed using auto estimating software while providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly to clients. Experience Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership or independent shop environments. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and understanding of automotive electrical systems. Knowledge of diesel engine repair, heavy equipment mechanics, and transmission repair is highly desirable. Familiarity with Schematics reading for mechanical systems repair is essential. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not mandatory. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to work efficiently with hand tools and power tools. Prior experience performing brake repair, wheel alignment, suspension work (shocks & struts), tire service, and oil changes is preferred.
