Job Overview Fairway Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a dependable and experienced Used Car Mechanic to join our team in Fostoria, Ohio. This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning used vehicles to ensure they meet dealership quality standards. Duties will also include oil changes, tire rotations, tire mounting and balancing and other related shop needs. Responsibilities Perform used vehicle inspections and safety checks Diagnose and repair mechanical issues Complete brake, tire, suspension, and engine repairs Oil changes, tire rotations, tire mounting and balancing Maintain accurate repair documentation Follow safety procedures and company standards Communicate effectively with team members and management Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently and to dealership standards Qualifications Previous automotive mechanic/technician experience required Strong diagnostic and repair skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license required Good communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork Technical training or certifications in automotive technology
