Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering top-tier vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this energetic role, you'll utilize your mechanical expertise and technical proficiency to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and interpret automotive wiring diagrams to identify issues across various vehicle systems. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, vehicle suspension systems, and electrical systems with precision and attention to detail. Repair and maintain diesel engines, alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other complex vehicle features. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment to execute repairs efficiently. Follow schematics meticulously for wiring repairs and system troubleshooting while adhering to safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering maintenance advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Complete auto estimating tasks accurately for parts and labor estimates while documenting all work performed thoroughly. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical system troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance including powertrain, transmissions, suspension system repair, and vehicle systems diagnostics. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Ability to operate automotive diagnostic tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices safely. Mechanical knowledge coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
