In this role, you will support the daily operations of the lube center, ensuring efficient service delivery, high-quality vehicle maintenance, and exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, hands-on experience with automotive fluid replacement and minor repairs, and excellent leadership skills to assist in managing a team of technicians. Duties Assist in overseeing daily lube center operations, ensuring timely and accurate vehicle servicing while maintaining safety standards. Perform routine automotive fluid replacements including oil changes, transmission fluids, and coolant top-offs with precision and efficiency. Support the management team in scheduling appointments, managing workflow, and maintaining inventory of tools and supplies. Conduct minor mechanical repairs such as tire service, wheel alignments, and basic mechanical diagnostics to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment effectively to perform maintenance tasks. Assist in training new technicians on proper procedures for vehicle maintenance and customer service protocols. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards to uphold the center's reputation for reliability. Engage with customers professionally to explain services performed, recommend additional maintenance needs, and foster positive relationships. Support inventory management by tracking parts used during services and ordering supplies as needed. Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized work environment that promotes efficiency and safety. Experience Previous dealership or automotive service center experience is highly preferred. Hands-on mechanic experience with standard passenger vehicles is essential, including familiarity with automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair techniques. Knowledge of automotive fluid replacement procedures, tire service, wheel alignment, and minor mechanical repairs is required. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment used in vehicle maintenance. Understanding of vehicle operation principles related to standard passenger cars. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Experience supervising or assisting in a team environment is advantageous but not mandatory; leadership potential is valued.
