Job Description
Automotive Technician — Olmsted Auto Care (Olmsted Township, OH) $20-$51/hr for ASE-certified technicians (transparent 8-level scale below)
- Hybrid 4-day work week
- No weekends
- Closed every other Friday Olmsted Auto Care is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician — we call the role Service Specialist , because that's how we treat it.
- Tier 2: 39-45.99
- Tier 3: 46+).

What the right candidate looks like Diagnoses through structured testing, not parts-swapping; documents testing, findings, and results clearly Comfortable with scan tools, wiring diagrams, service information, and modern diagnostic equipment Strong across the core systems: engine performance, electrical/electronic, brakes, steering & suspension, HVAC, cooling, fuel & ignition, drivetrain, engine mechanical, preventive maintenance Completes accurate digital vehicle inspections and communicates what they find Works independently, functions as part of a team, asks for help and offers it Accepts coaching, shows up dependably, keeps a clean and professional bay Fit into our culture is the most important thing on this list ASE certifications strongly preferred; Master and advanced-level certifications are highly valued and compensated accordingly.
